Based in Baden, Switzerland, you will actively contribute to the development of solutions that reduce emissions and increase energy efficiency in the transport and marine sectors. We are looking for a proactive designer who enjoys construction work and also likes to tackle practical challenges - across the entire product lifecycle. As a Senior R&D Designer, you are responsible for the mechanical design and documentation of turbine components across the entire product lifecycle - from the concept phase to production support and service readiness. In close collaboration with international and cross-functional teams, you ensure that our products meet the highest requirements for robustness, quality, and long-term performance. Your responsibilities: Design (2D/3D) and product documentation for technologically outstanding and robust turbine products Participation in product development and change management processes with design tasks across the entire product lifecycle Design responsibility for individual tasks and project activities Close collaboration with product groups along the entire value chain in international and intercultural teams (project management, basic development, procurement, production, and service) Support for initial sampling and quality releases of our Asian cooperation partners Participation in the quality assurance process, including the handling of deviations Your profile: Degree in mechanical engineering, design, or equivalent qualification (MSc, BSc, technician) At least 2 years of experience in the mechanical engineering or design field - ideally with rotating machines, turbomachinery, or engine components.
