On behalf of an international company active in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, we are looking for a Purchaser to strengthen the Supply Chain team based in Geneva.

Purchaser

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you ensure product availability while optimizing stock levels and supply flows with international suppliers.

Your missions :

• Manage supplies and guarantee product availability based on sales forecasts,
• Analyze needs, launch and follow up on supplier orders,
• Ensure monitoring of delivery times and anticipate risks of shortage or overstock,
• Coordinate exchanges with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams (logistics, finance, sales),
• Update master data in the ERP.

Your profile :

• Higher education in Purchasing Management or an equivalent field,
• Confirmed experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a procurement function, ideally in an FMCG, agri-food or distribution environment,
• Excellent mastery of Excel and experience using an ERP,
• Good understanding of international flows and stock management,
• Analytical capacity, rigor and sense of organization,
• Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various interlocutors,
• Fluent French and a good level of professional English.
