Together with vascular surgery and interventional radiology, you will further develop an interdisciplinary vascular center that has grown over 20 years. With the Vascular Access Center, the close cooperation with a large oncology and the fourth largest nephrology in Switzerland, as well as the positioning as LE&RN Referral Network Center of Excellence for lymphatic diseases, KSB has an extraordinary network throughout Switzerland and a very broad interventional spectrum. Together with the current job holder, you will arrange a structured handover and take over this key role as part of a long-term planned succession from July 2027. Chief Physician Angiology 80-100% Your tasks You will take over the strategic, medical and organizational leadership of angiology and develop the department strategically. You will ensure high-quality, modern and patient-centered angiological care. You will continue and further expand the long-standing interdisciplinary cooperation with vascular surgery and interventional radiology. You will regularly work interventionally in the catheter laboratory (at least 2 days per week) and actively help shape the planned expansion of capacities and the range of services. You will ensure the care of the entire spectrum of arterial, venous and lymphatic vascular diseases and continuously develop this further. You are responsible for specialized procedures such as endovenous therapies, sclerotherapy and phlebectomies. You will further develop the Vascular Access Center together with oncology and nephrology and strengthen the interdisciplinary interfaces. You will work closely with rheumatology in performing capillary microscopy to clarify vasculitides. You will continue the positioning of KSB as LE&RN Referral Network Center of Excellence for lymphatic diseases. You will be involved in teaching, research and further education and promote the professional development of the field. Your profile You have a specialist title FMH Angiology or an equivalent qualification. You have broad clinical experience in the entire spectrum of angiology as well as proven expertise in non-invasive and interventional angiology. A habilitation is desired and your commitment to teaching, research and further education is accordingly demonstrated. You have proven leadership and management skills and develop organizations and teams sustainably. You enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation and want to strategically further develop a department that is already technically excellently positioned. You think entrepreneurially, act economically and actively expand sustainable cooperations within and outside the hospital.
