Stans | 80-100% The contribution you can make <br /> • Analyse the situation relevant to the army in the context of Swiss Army deployments, particularly with regard to threat and environmental factors at the tactical level, and submit information requests to the Military Information Service & Preventive Protection Service of the Army (SIM & SPPEs) for the timely acquisition of information on the situation and task • Illustrate and present the situation of peace promotion missions on the occasion of reports from the SWISSINT Competence Centre • Participate in SIM & SPPEs reports and maintain close contact with the respective analysts • Provide support for the intelligence information flow between SIM & SPPEs and the SWISSINT Competence Centre • Acquire information from deployment areas within the framework of applicable law and international peace promotion service customs • Prepare situation-related contributions suitable for the target audience, in the form of individual information, situation reports or other intelligence products for the benefit of the SWISSINT Competence Centre as well as SIM & SPPEs <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree at master's level • Officer of the Swiss Army (staff officer at bat or br level or with command functions) • Two to three years of relevant professional experience in peace promotion service • Excellent knowledge of the planning, execution and evaluation process as well as the situation controlling process • Ability to think and act at all levels indispensable • Mandatory conceptual knowledge <br /> In brief The Military Information Service collects and analyses foreign information relevant to security, tailored to the needs of the Swiss Army. It includes, among other things, the Air Force, the Land Force, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Centre, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police. About 40 per cent of the nearly 2500 employees are civilian employees: from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts. The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees in four military professions and around 200 civilian professions, at 110 locations throughout the country.
