The center is looking for a physician wishing to obtain, in the long term, the federal postgraduate title of specialist in nuclear medicine. The position is open to candidates with or without previous experience in the discipline. The supervision is provided by the experienced senior physicians of the department. The position guarantees: un direct and progressive access to all diagnostic examinations; an active participation in the therapy and theranostics program; participation in multidisciplinary colloquia internal and external to the Clinic; integration into postgraduate training networks; a structured supervision in accordance with the requirements of the ISFM program. The definition and implementation of a research project are also encouraged, notably in order to meet the requirements of the ISFM postgraduate training. The Nuclear Medicine Department of the Clinique de Genolier is recognized as an ISFM category B postgraduate training center, for a maximum duration of two years. It offers a position as an assistant physician or assistant senior registrar. The center is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub building, in the heart of the Genolier campus, in the immediate vicinity of the radio-oncology and radiology services. It is one of the two GE HealthCare European centers of excellence in molecular imaging and theranostics, as well as one of the founding members of the GE HealthCare international network of innovation centers. The center actively collaborates with several Swiss and regional hospital institutions, notably the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève, the Hôpital cantonal de Lucerne, the hospitals of Nyon and Morges, the Centre hospitalier Alpes Léman and the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. It develops an active research program in the fields of advanced imaging, artificial intelligence and clinical trials. It also welcomes students from polytechnic schools as well as experienced researchers. The first commercial specimen of the OMNI 128 cm total-body PET, the first commercial upgrade in the world of the StarGuide to the GX Dual-Sided configuration, as well as a theranostics unit with radiation protection chambers will be operational during the coming months. The center offers a full range of diagnostic examinations intended for adult patients, notably in oncology, in PET cardiology and in neurology. It also performs all conventional nuclear medicine examinations, as well as complete multimodal imaging protocols including diagnostic CT. You will join a team composed of five senior physicians, of whom two benefit from a university affiliation: one with the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève and the other as head of the theranostics unit of the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. You will also be supervised by specialists holding a double FMH title, notably in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology.
