Security Engineer

As an ICT Security Engineer, you will take on a central role in protecting our critical infrastructure and make a direct contribution to secure hospital operations. ### What awaits you • Responsibility for the operation and further development of our ICT security solutions • Monitoring of security systems, early detection of threats and initiation of targeted measures • Analysis and processing of security incidents, including ensuring sustainable remediation • Identification of vulnerabilities, assessment of risks and coordination of suitable countermeasures • In your role, you will advise ICT projects and accompany new technologies from a security perspective • Active further development of our security processes and architecture • Support with risk analyses as well as with the expansion and operation of the ISMS • Close cooperation with IT, specialist departments and external partners • Promotion of security awareness within the entire organization How you will move us forward • Completed training or studies in the field of informatics or IT security or equivalent • Several years of experience in a similar function • Sound knowledge in network and system security, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability management and Identity & Access Management • Experience with cloud and hybrid IT environments • Knowledge in information security management, risk analyses and standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST is an advantage • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working • Ability to assess risks understandably and communicate in a manner appropriate to the target group • Independent, responsible personality with team spirit Family friendliness Die Spitäler Schaffhausen as an employer Die Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie und Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen as well as the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the expanded basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. In addition, we are an important training center in the canton.
