As Head of Technical Services/Facility Management you are responsible for the strategic, tactical, and operative facility management of the infrastructure in the Canton of Nidwalden. You lead the department and, together with your approximately 50 employees, ensure the availability, safety, and further development of real estate, machines, and facilities. Your range of tasks includes, among others, investment and planning processes, energy management, and the control of maintenance projects. Additionally, you drive the continuous optimization of structures and processes. In doing so, you promote constructive exchange with internal stakeholders and represent company interests towards authorities as well as external partners. The plant fire brigade and plant medical services are also part of your area of responsibility. As a basis, you have a technical or construction-related background with further education at HF/FH level, as well as several years of leadership experience in a comparable function in an industrial environment. You are familiar with complex building infrastructure, infrastructure management, as well as demanding investment and maintenance projects, and have a high affinity for digitalization topics. Personally, you convince through forward-looking, strategic thinking, implementation strength, and a pronounced hands-on mentality. You lead clearly and bindingly and communicate in a target-group-oriented manner at all levels. Good English skills as well as presence on site are required.
