In your three-year apprenticeship at the Herisau location, you will become part of a team and ensure in the background that people and goods can be transported on the rail network in an environmentally friendly, safe, and reliable manner. ### What awaits you • Controlling, maintaining, and replacing tracks and switches • Creating and maintaining service paths and embankments • Moving precast concrete elements, repair and maintenance work on the railway facility's drainage systems • Collaboration in slope maintenance, vegetation control, and the necessary maintenance work for these • As part of our training cooperation, you will work together with apprentices from other companies in regular assignments and gain insight into various projects. You will be accompanied by experienced practical trainers. What you bring with you • You are manually skilled and have an interest in technology. • You enjoy working in a team. • You are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. • You are used to working carefully and precisely. • Irregular working hours (early in the morning or in the evening) do not bother you. • You are reliable, punctual, and comply with safety precautions and operational specifications. • You have a Sekundar- or Realabschluss.
