Distributed across several sites in the canton, it offers a wide range of care in many medical fields and accompanies many patients each year thanks to committed multidisciplinary teams. Job description As part of last-minute missions within the Réseau Hospitalier Neuchâtelois, you will intervene quickly as a State-certified nurse in order to guarantee optimal patient care in different services of the canton of Neuchâtel. Depending on the needs of the establishment and your experience, you may be required to intervene in medicine, surgery, emergencies, intensive care, geriatrics, rehabilitation, psychiatry, maternity or in other specialized units. You will take charge of patients presenting varied, sometimes complex, clinical situations, and you will adapt your practice to the specificities of each service. Your main responsibilities consist of: Ensuring the reception, initial assessment and clinical monitoring of patients in compliance with care priorities. Performing prescribed and autonomous nursing care with rigor, by scrupulously applying current protocols, procedures and hygiene rules. Administering treatments, preparing and controlling the necessary material, and ensuring the proper traceability of the acts performed. Observing the evolution of the patients' state of health, detecting warning signs and quickly transmitting relevant information to the medical team. Participating in the coordination of care with doctors, nursing assistants, ASSC and all professionals involved in the patient journey. Contributing to the organization of the service according to priorities, activity flows and imperatives related to last-minute replacements. Guaranteeing secure, caring and respectful care of the dignity of patients and their relatives. Ensuring the quality of written and oral transmissions in order to maintain optimal continuity of care between teams. You adapt quickly to different service environments and procedures, while maintaining a high level of demand, precision and efficiency. Profile sought You hold a nursing diploma recognized in Switzerland or have a valid CRS recognition. Experience in a hospital environment constitutes an important asset, particularly in high-activity services or those requiring a high capacity for adaptation. To succeed in this function, you must possess solid technical and relational skills, notably: Mastery of common and specialized nursing care according to the assigned service. Good knowledge of hospital protocols, hygiene, safety and risk prevention rules. Ability to quickly assess a clinical situation and prioritize the actions to be carried out. Ease in using monitoring tools and transmission of care information. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in sometimes demanding contexts. Your soft skills are just as essential: You demonstrate an excellent capacity for adaptation and know how to integrate quickly into different teams and organizations. You are reactive, available quickly, sometimes within a period of less than 24 hours.
