As Head of Quality (m/f/d), you will assume overall responsibility for our Quality organization and develop it consistently. In doing so, you will combine high quality standards with entrepreneurial thinking, pragmatism, and speed. You understand Quality not just as a control instance, but as a strategic partner to the business - with the ambition to identify risks early, reduce complexity, and continuously improve the performance of the entire organization. Your tasks in detail: • You will further develop our Quality strategy and set clear priorities for its implementation together with the management • You will lead and develop the Quality organization and create an environment in which ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement are lived • You make quality measurable: With clear goals, meaningful KPIs, and impact-oriented reporting, you create transparency and enable well-founded decisions • You question existing processes and structures, identify potential for improvement, and consistently drive pragmatic and sustainable solutions forward • You ensure the further development of our quality management system as well as compliance with relevant standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements • You manage cross-departmental quality and improvement initiatives and ensure that insights lead to concrete measures and measurable improvements • As a central interface between management, engineering, production, project management, and other departments, you bring different perspectives together and create viable solutions • You strengthen a quality culture in which quality is not solely the task of the Quality organization, but a shared responsibility of the entire company WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING • Completed technical, scientific, or economic studies, ideally with a focus on quality management, production, technology, or a comparable orientation • Several years of relevant professional experience in quality management, preferably in a comparable industrial environment • Sound experience in the development and implementation of quality strategies as well as in the further development of management systems and organizational structures • Several years of leadership experience as well as demonstrable experience in managing cross-departmental projects and change initiatives • Very good knowledge of relevant quality standards and management systems, especially ISO 9001; knowledge of other relevant standards is an advantage • Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking as well as the ability to analyze complex issues in a structured manner and prepare them for management • High communication and persuasion skills as well as a confident manner when dealing with management, leadership, and various specialist departments • Strong change, implementation, and conflict competence as well as a high degree of personal responsibility • Very good German and business fluent English skills WHAT WE OFFER YOU • A dynamic working environment with exciting projects • Flexible working hours (flextime and trust-based working hours) • Very good social benefits and an above-mandatory pension fund • Employee benefits of a large corporation, employee stock purchase program • Support for demand-oriented further training • Staff restaurant as well as external catering and shopping options nearby • Individual internal as well as external personnel development measures in cooperation with our Rheinmetall-Academy • Workplace just a few minutes' walk from the Zürich-Oerlikon station We need your consent to load the YouTube service! ### In order to play YouTube videos, a connection to YouTube must be established.
