Tasks ## • Personnel and technical leadership of the Traffic Facilities team at the interface of traffic technology, design of light signal infrastructures, infrastructure operation, digitalization, and the political environment • Leadership, management, and overall technical responsibility for the planning, operation, maintenance, and further development of traffic technology infrastructures such as light signal systems, tunnel control systems, communication backbones, information displays, parking guidance systems, and signaling equipment • Management of demanding public procurements and implementation projects • Specialist planning for construction projects as well as technical assessment and support of light signal projects • Representation of the Traffic Department in interdisciplinary specialist committees as well as towards partner organizations and external contractors Profile ## • University degree as an Electrical Engineer FH, ETH, or University or a comparable education • Solution-oriented and communicative personality • Leadership and project management experience in the field of traffic technology, electrical engineering, operating infrastructures, or traffic systems • Practical knowledge of public procurement or the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex regulatory frameworks • In-depth understanding of traffic management, signaling, operating processes, and safety-critical infrastructures is an advantage • Very good German skills in spoken and written form We offer ## • a varied and meaningful activity in an interesting environment; • flexible and mobile working as well as a healthy balance between job and private life; • exciting continuing education opportunities; • a place of work in the heart of the city of Zürich and within walking distance of the HB; as well as • attractive employment conditions and social benefits of the city of Zürich.
