Apprentice Polymécanicien (M/F) - Industrial Methods Specialization

We are convinced of the importance of training the new generation in our professions and with this in view, we offer an apprenticeship position as Polymécanicien (M/F) - Industrial Methods Specialization You will begin your training by learning the basics of the polymécanicien profession, including the manufacturing of parts, the use of conventional and CNC machines, as well as reading blueprints. In a second phase of your training, you will move towards a specialization in industrial methods. At this stage, your activities will be primarily focused on the preparation, optimization, and monitoring of manufacturing processes, rather than the direct manufacturing of parts. Job Description ##   1st phase of training - Basics of the polymécanicien profession • Machining of mechanical parts - manufacturing of tools, components, and devices using conventional or CNC machines • Programming and setting up CNC machines - creation, optimization, and adjustment of programs • Dimensional and quality control - verification of measurements, tolerances, and technical requirements of produced parts • Mechanical assembly - assembly of elements, sub-assemblies, and devices according to blueprints • Maintenance and diagnostics - machine maintenance and basic interventions • Prototype manufacturing - production of single units or small series • Material preparation - selection, cutting, and shaping • Reading technical blueprints - interpretation of drawings, dimensions, and tolerances 2nd phase of training - Specialization in industrial methods In this phase, your activities are primarily oriented towards the preparation, optimization, and monitoring of manufacturing processes. • Create process sheets, bills of materials, and SAP data - structure and maintain technical information necessary for production • Conduct continuous improvement actions - analyze root causes, propose solutions, and participate in their implementation • Monitor production orders in the workshops - ensure the correct execution of production orders during industrialization or improvement phases • Collaborate with production - analyze workstations and exchange with teams to optimize processes • Update and utilize tracking files - for industrializations and improvements • Industrialize prototypes - work with project managers for the transition to production • Monitor internal trials - plan, observe, and analyze conducted tests Profile ## • Dynamic personality, driven by the desire to progress continuously and improve performance • Strong interest in practical and technical activities, with a concrete approach to work • Acute sense of accuracy and precision, indispensable to guarantee irreproachable quality • Motivation to achieve ambitious production goals, prioritizing collaboration and team efficiency • Ease of evolving in a constantly changing technological environment, supported by a high capacity for learning • Easy to communicate with, composed, and logical • IT skills, notably in Excel • Upper secondary level or medium degree, accompanied by very good results in geometry, algebra, calculus, and technical drawing Contact person ## If this apprenticeship interests you, please send your complete application dossier (CV, cover letter, last 2 school reports) to: RUBATTEL ET WEYERMANN SA, Ressources Humaines Rue Louis Chevrolet 41, 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds, Suisse Workplace 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds Company address Rubattel et Weyermann S.A.
