Supervisor / Caretaker Facility Service 80 - 100% # Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is, as part of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs of the Canton of Zürich, responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of the various types of detention. For our 1'400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of convicted persons and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance. Das Gefängnis Affoltern am Albis (GFA) belongs to the execution facilities of the Canton of Zürich (VEZ) - one of eight main departments of JuWe - and is an institution specialized in the closed execution of prison sentences. The GFA provides space for about 65 incarcerated persons. In addition to the concept of group execution, which aims at increased personal responsibility of the inmates, a level-appropriate school education (BiSt) is offered. For our facility service, we are looking for a stable, socially competent and resilient personality as soon as possible or by arrangement. The position is limited to 12 months from the date of entry. Your tasks ### • Leadership, guidance and motivation of around 60 inmates taking into account their abilities as well as their current physical and psychological condition • Promotion of the personality development of the inmates with regard to their reintegration • Ensuring correct recording of work earnings • Collaboration in projects of the work operations • Writing of leadership sheet entries, reports and hearings as well as completion of further administrative work • Support in crisis situations Your profile ### • Completed manual-technical basic training and several years of professional experience • Initial experience in agogics is an advantage • Fluent German skills in speaking and writing; knowledge of other languages is an advantage • Open-mindedness in thinking and acting, teamwork as well as enjoyment in dealing with people of different social and cultural origins and in crisis situations • Minimum age of 25 years • Impeccable reputation Our offer ### • Interesting and versatile tasks in an unusual working environment • Place of work approx. 5 minutes walking from Affoltern am Albis station • Attractive employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines Take the next step in your professional career with us and send us your application via our online tool.
