In your capacity as a low voltage operator within the Exploitation unit, you ensure the uninterrupted electrical supply to customers by supervising the LV network and managing anomalies and breakdowns observed on the Geneva electrical network. The Exploitation unit of the Electricity Distribution Activity has the mission to guarantee the management, operation, and troubleshooting of the HV/MV/LV network as well as network quality and the design of innovative solutions intended for the supervision and control of the network and its facilities.

As part of your function, you will notably be in charge of :

• Ensuring the technical interface with the Construction teams as well as the customer interface in the management of planned interruptions ;
• Developing, executing, or having executed network maneuvers during restorations and as part of planned interruptions for work ;
• Updating the LV distribution network schematics and the databases related to the digitization of network objects ;
• Guaranteeing the safety of interventions on the MV/LV electrical network ;
• Contributing to the technical efficiency of the LV network operation (selectivity plan, integration of smart grid solutions…).

Your personality and your skills

You possess a great sense of responsibility, a strong capacity to work in a sometimes stressful context, as well as rigor, flexibility, and a solid team spirit. Your sense of customer service allows you to respond to requests and complaints while minimizing the impact of LV network disturbances. On a technical level, you are comfortable with IT tools (office software, SAP, SIRS) and possess in-depth knowledge of the electrical network and its equipment.

This position requires an on-call service with an intervention time of half an hour.

You will be assigned to this on-call duty as soon as you possess the necessary knowledge.

Academic background:

• You hold a CFC as an electrical installer and/or a network electrician, completed by a federal certificate or ready to follow one or the other training ;
• An ES Technician diploma is also desired ;
• as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical or industrial networks.
