Architect - Head of the Project Service in the Construction Department Your mission in Bienne The Project Service of the City of Bienne is part of the Construction Department, within the Directorate of Public Works, Energy and the Environment. It is responsible for steering new construction projects as well as transformation projects of the municipal real estate heritage. The entrusted portfolio is very varied and includes, in particular, school, sports, cultural and administrative buildings, several of which possess particular architectural or heritage value. Through its projects, the City of Bienne intends to play a role as a demonstrator and to demonstrate exemplary behavior in terms of architectural quality, sustainability and responsible management of public resources. To lead this strategic service, we are looking for an architect with experience, possessing solid management skills and the desire to steer and realize ambitious public projects. The profile we dream of University or HES degree in architecture or training deemed equivalent Proven experience in the management of new construction projects and major transformations, ideally in the public sector Solid knowledge of construction standards, public procurement and competition procedures Experience in team management and in steering multiple projects Strong architectural culture, sensitivity to sustainability, energy and the quality of buildings.
