• 25 August 2026 • 80 - 100% • Permanent • Zürich About us To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a dedicated and technically competent person to join us at our Zurich site, either immediately or at a date to be agreed, as a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Cloud, infrastructure, and modern workplace technology. Your missions • Design, operation, continuous improvement, and lifecycle management of our cloud-based IT infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) • Development, extension, and operational management of the Microsoft cloud environment, with a focus on Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune • Operation and development of central infrastructure and platform services, in particular Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, GPO, as well as server and domain services • Implementation, maintenance, and optimization of network and security components such as firewalls, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, VLAN, and SD-WAN • Responsibility for Identity & Access Management (IAM) topics, including conditional access, enterprise applications, application registrations, as well as identity, mail, and AD security • Contribution to technical security and compliance with standards, architectural principles, as well as security and compliance requirements • Design of future-oriented solutions and automation of existing and new infrastructures • Digitization and standardization of processes, including the use of PowerShell • Monitoring and supervision of the infrastructure and services via PRTG • Support and active participation in projects, change requests, requirements engineering, and IT architecture development • Responsibility for the management of Microsoft licenses, notably in Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) models • Advising and supporting internal stakeholders, ensuring knowledge transfer on methods, processes, and technologies • Collaboration in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support, as well as technical coordination with application owners and external partners Your profile • Completed training or continuing education in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field • Several years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem with a focus on cloud, server administration, infrastructure, and platform development • Solid knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, storage, backup, virtualization, and modern infrastructure and cloud technologies • Very strong expertise in IAM, Entra ID, conditional access, and security-related topics in the Microsoft environment • Experience in the design, optimization, and evaluation of IT architectures and solutions, taking into account security and compliance requirements • Proficiency in PowerShell, with a strong interest in automation and standardization • Professional experience as a systems engineer, cloud engineer, or IT architect • Structured, solution-oriented, and autonomous working method, combined with excellent communication and presentation skills • Fluent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken • Microsoft certifications and experience with methodological frameworks in the Microsoft ecosystem are an advantage Our offer S-GE offers a fascinating role at the interface between politics and international business in a modern working environment in the heart of Zurich.
