The Stiftung Serata operates a modern elderly care center with five houses and around 300 employees. A modularly structured, carefully coordinated overall concept covers all areas of life – from living to supporting services, care and nursing, to active everyday activities. Additionally, a restaurant with a beautiful garden and event rooms is available to the entire population. To ensure the high quality of its services in the long term, Stiftung Serata trains its own successors. As part of succession planning, we are looking for an experienced leader as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Deputy Management. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Deputy Management What you will achieve In this versatile function, as a member of the executive management, you will actively participate in the strategic further development of the elderly care center and significantly shape its future. You will advise the management and the foundation board on business and investment-related matters and bear responsibility for the long-term liquidity, investment, and financing strategy. Your area of responsibility includes finance and accounting, real estate management, resident administration / reception, and ICT (a total of 8 employees). You will place special emphasis on the continuous further development of structures and processes. This ensures modern and meaningful accounting, reporting, and cross-departmental controlling. For the further development of the foundation, you will also take on the management of demanding key projects; in particular, the upcoming new construction project forms a central element. You will ensure cost and financing goals and represent the interests of the foundation towards authorities and financing partners. As deputy management, you will act towards the CEO as a competent sparring partner in operational and strategic issues. What characterizes you Several years of leadership experience in a CFO or similar management function, ideally at executive management level. You bring a university degree (Uni/FH) in business administration or a higher education at expert level (e.g., expert in accounting and controlling). Expertise in financial planning, Swiss GAAP FER 2, as well as experience in investment controlling of complex construction projects and sound knowledge in the area of ERP/ICT. You are characterized by entrepreneurial, strategic, and forward-looking thinking and acting. With your cooperative leadership style and your integrative personality, you promote team spirit, trust, and a positive working atmosphere. You communicate clearly and convincingly, grasp complex contexts quickly, and approach issues with foresight.
