Start of employment: Immediately or by arrangement Work location: Burgdorf The Regionalgefängnis Burgdorf is the most modern prison in the Canton of Bern and stands for a secure, structured and responsible execution of various types of detention. With around 160 inmates and 60 employees, we ensure orderly operations and high security standards daily. We orient ourselves by the motto: "Security today and tomorrow. Working with us means taking responsibility, acting reliably and actively participating in a demanding environment Your tasks <br /> • In this function, you ensure the production of high-quality work products and guarantee efficient operations. • You plan, organize and accompany the work processes professionally and ensure compliance with the specified quality, safety and work standards. • You accompany the inmates in their daily work, assess their performance and promote their work, social and self-competencies according to work-agogic principles. • In the core process of execution, you work interdisciplinarily with the execution managers and other specialist departments. • You ensure the quality of services and their correct billing, acquire work orders and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. In doing so, you orient yourself by the principles of action of work-agogics and contribute to a conducive working atmosphere. <br /> Your profile <br /> • You have completed vocational training (EFZ) in the wood or craft sector and bring several years of professional experience. • Knowledge in the social or intercultural field (e.g. asylum matters) is desirable; professional experience in a comparable function, ideally in judicial execution, is an advantage. • You convince through teamwork, negotiation skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills. • You are open to further training in the work-agogic and judicial execution-specific area. • Additionally, you have very good German as well as French skills; further language skills are welcome. • Your profile is rounded off by a high degree of loyalty, identification with the task as well as a strong service and customer orientation. <br /> We offer you As a reliable employer, we offer you a professional working environment in modern infrastructure with high social relevance.
