The Department of Age, Care & Addiction Help checks and issues permits for activities as a person or institution in the long-term and Spitex sector, is responsible for the implementation of the care initiative, and is responsible for the cantonal coordination office for addiction help. For the Department of Age, Care & Addiction Help, we are looking for an Expert/Specialist in Age and Care, 80% immediately or by agreement at the Solothurn location. Your responsibility You approve and supervise the operation and provision of services by social institutions in the field of age and care (primarily in Spitex organizations) and check compliance with the regulations and quality according to the Social and Health Act. The enforcement of the cantonal legal training and further education obligations for non-university health professions and the federal legal training obligations fall within your area of responsibility. You advise people with care and support needs and their relatives as well as sponsors and home managers. The technical processing and evaluation of complaints as well as the preparation of corresponding decisions in cooperation with the legal department are also part of your responsibilities. You negotiate the provision of social services with the institutions, create service contracts, and control and evaluate the provision of the agreed services. Your profile You have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing and have several years of nursing experience in the Spitex sector. You are familiar with the various professional groups and institutions in the healthcare system and have experience in collaborating on projects with interdisciplinary partners. You show great interest in social, economic, and political issues in the healthcare sector. In addition to your high social competence, you convince with a sovereign appearance, pronounced communication skills, and a scientifically analytical way of thinking.
