In order to strengthen its information systems service, as part of a replacement, the City is looking for a: Information systems support technician on a fixed-term contract Your mission: You ensure the installation and guaranteed operation of IT and/or telephone equipment (hardware and software) within the framework of projects. At the request of users or through monitoring means, you guarantee the maintenance (remotely or on-site) of this equipment and handle incidents and new requests. You approach IT from the perspective of environmental, social and economic challenges to build an (eco)responsible information system and help the administration evolve towards more agile models through digital technology. Your main activities: • acquire, prepare and install IT hardware and software (office, standard and professional applications); • deploy hardware at workstations; • place orders, verify receipt of material (IT hardware and supplies); • configure user profiles (AD account, messaging, directory, links, etc.); • assign and manage access privileges in accordance with defined standards; • assist and advise users in case of questions, breakdowns or malfunctions; • diagnose and quickly resolve breakdowns, if necessary, forward requests to partners or suppliers; • update internal procedures and those intended for users; • produce technical documents; • manage already active services to guarantee their maintenance in operational condition and their usability. Your profile: • professional maturity in IT with 5 years of experience or federal diploma in IT with 3 years of experience or training deemed equivalent; • possessing an ITIL certification, an asset; • having good general knowledge of different IT professions (desktop, infrastructure, security, application integration, etc.) and their concept; • having analytical and organizational capacity, particularly for taking control of new software; • having good oral and written expression, knowing how to demonstrate interpersonal skills, possessing a certain ability to convince, being able to popularize different IT concepts; • being able to quickly understand challenges, having a pragmatic sense and an appetite for change; • languages: perfect mastery of French, intermediate level in English and intermediate level in German, an asset; • being irreproachable in terms of confidentiality; • having a sense of public service; • holding a driver's license.
