Chief Physician in rehabilitation and geriatrics - 50% to 100%

As a Chief Physician, with or without a specialist title, you guarantee the quality of medical services in the care units of your field of competence.
You coordinate practical activities as well as diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for the patients entrusted to you in close collaboration with the assistant physicians.
Evolving in a stimulating university environment, within a multidisciplinary team, you also contribute to the training of intern physicians.
You participate in clinical research activities and you begin, according to your personal interest, a quality or clinical research project with specific supervision.

You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO).
You benefit from or are close to obtaining the FMH specialist title in general internal medicine.
In benefit of an FMH specialist title, you must possess a right of practice in the canton of Genève.
For non-French speaking candidates, C1 level French in spoken and written tests is required.
Experience in acute internal medicine (emergencies or intermediate care) or in-depth training in geriatrics is a plus.
You are a person endowed with good communication skills in an interdisciplinary team and with patients, you are dynamic, flexible and committed.

Counting nearly 1'500 employees, the Département de réadaptation et gériatrie (DRG) constitutes a medical hub centered on the elderly person and is distributed over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably thanks to the emergencies of the Hôpital des Trois-Chêne, specific problems related to age, medical rehabilitation and palliative medicine.
Located in the heart of a park on the Belle-Idée estate, the Hôpital des Trois-Chêne welcomes people whose state of health requires hospitalization for acute geriatric care or rehabilitation. The hospital has a geriatric emergency unit that can welcome patients aged 75 and over, excluding life-threatening emergencies, a complete radiology unit, an intermediate care unit as well as acute care and rehabilitation units.
