Head of Production / Plant Engineering (w/m/d)

For the plant in the Thurgau region, we are looking for a strategically thinking personality with leadership experience as Head of Production (w/m/d) Your tasks: • Department Management: Operative and strategic leadership of the production and work preparation (AVOR) areas at the location • Process & capacity control: Ongoing review as well as demand-oriented adjustment of production capacities to global customer demand • Schedule & cost assurance: Ensuring the timely manufacturing and delivery of demanding pressure vessels and complex assemblies as well as continuous reduction of production costs taking into account the total cost of ownership approach • Quality & guidelines compliance: Consistent compliance with relevant international quality and regulatory standards (e.g., Pressure Equipment Directives) in close cooperation with internal interfaces • CIP & synergies: Initiation and control of continuous improvement processes (CIP) in cooperation with development/design as well as utilization of international site synergies What you can look forward to • Key function: A demanding management task with great • Scope for design at an established industry champion • Culture & environment: A state-of-the-art, dynamic, and international working environment with strong team spirit • Security: Long-term perspectives in a stable industrial environment • Attractive package: Competitive employment conditions and targeted development opportunities Qualifications Your profile: • Education: Technical basic training in the manufacturing industry (e.g., in mechanical or metal engineering), supplemented by an engineering degree or a specialization towards mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or production management • Welding technology expertise: Sound know-how and practical experience in welding technology (ideally in stainless steel or pressure vessel construction) for competent control of demanding joining processes • Leadership experience: Demonstrable practice in leading production teams as well as sound knowledge in production planning and AVOR (experience with the manufacture of pressure equipment is an advantage) • Working style: Consistently aligned with strategic corporate goals, pronounced assertiveness, organizational talent, and a high "sense of urgency" for time-critical topics • Languages: Proficient German as well as very good English skills (at least B1) for international cooperation work at null
