Ittigen | 80-100% This is what you can contribute <br /> • As head of the specialist unit, represent medical CBRN topics on behalf of the medical service • Create guidelines for the medical CBRN area as well as contributions for national CBRN protection • Continuously monitor the situation regarding CBRN threats and derive medical measures to protect troops at home and abroad • Advise the high-security laboratory Spiez and the ABC-KAMIR competence center, and create contributions for research activities • Coordinate military medical training and further education in the CBRN area, create and revise the relevant training basics, and advise the senior medical officer and other stakeholders • Represent the needs and interests of the Swiss Army in national and international working groups and expert committees, and assume the role of deputy medical intelligence officer <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Federally certified physician or federally recognized physician, Master's degree in a natural science subject • Understanding of military medical processes (preferably staff officer) and in-depth knowledge in the CBRN area or willingness to acquire it • Ability to quickly recognize connections and derive measures from them, as well as independent and forward-thinking work • Willingness to work in a team, participate in expert committees, and undertake regular business trips abroad • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language, if possible passive knowledge of a third official language, and very good English skills <br /> In a nutshell In this unique position in the Swiss Army, you will be an expert advising various stakeholders on medical prevention and defense against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threats (CBRN) and will be responsible for developing guidelines for medical CBRN defense.
