Introduction

The canton of Geneva has five Fondations Immobilières de Droit Public (FIDP) which, together, manage a portfolio of more than 8’700 HBM dwellings subject to the Loi générale sur le logement (LGL). To support them in their daily management tasks, the team of the SECRETARIAT DES FONDATIONS IMMOBILIERES DE DROIT PUBLIC (SFIDP) provides them with advice and assistance in administrative, accounting, technical, and legal fields. To strengthen our teams, we are currently looking for a:

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

• Manage litigation files before and/or during proceedings (non-payment, neighborhood disturbances, etc.);
• Manage various legal proceedings (reporting to adult protection, etc.);
• Collaborate with the different services of the SFIDP and the FIDP;
• Have regular communications with the social authorities of the canton within the framework of following up on litigation and/or legal proceedings;
• Collaborate with our representatives, partners, and concierges;
• Advise tenants regarding social follow-up;
• Conduct occasional assessment interviews with housing applicants;
• Establish and monitor dashboards inherent to these activities.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in social work HES-SO, or an equivalent training;
• You have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and have confirmed knowledge of several years of the Geneva social fabric, as well as a marked interest in housing issues;
• You have knowledge regarding tenancy law;
• You have significant experience in the real estate sector, an asset;
• You have a positive mindset, are solution-oriented, and have a good ability to synthesize;
• You know how to manage deadlines and priorities and are methodical and rigorous in following up on files;
• You are proactive and have recognized social ease.
