The skilled worker in facility maintenance EFZ is responsible for the technical maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness and safety of the entire institutional infrastructure. The goal is a functional, well-maintained, and safe operation for all clients, employees, and external partners. Additionally, this role involves guiding and supporting auxiliary employees with disabilities in their daily work. Main tasks • Ensuring the continuous operation of technical facilities (sanitary, heating, electrical, ventilation) • Independent execution of repairs, maintenance, and small orders • Planning and carrying out regular maintenance according to the maintenance plan • Organizing and monitoring external specialist companies for larger repairs • Checking and maintaining safety equipment (e.g., escape routes, fire extinguishers, lighting) • Cleaning and maintaining interior and exterior facilities according to the cleaning plan • Coordinating daily or weekly cleaning with auxiliary employees • Maintaining paths, green spaces, and parking lots (including winter services) • Checking cleanliness, order, and material condition in all rooms • Responsibility for ordering consumables and cleaning materials • Checking inventory levels and proper storage • Keeping maintenance lists, reports, and control records • Reporting and documenting damage and special incidents Professional qualifications • Completed training as a skilled worker in facility maintenance EFZ • Further education in the pedagogical field • Driver's license category D1 (required for material or passenger transport) • Technical understanding of building maintenance, domestic technology, and safety systems • Experience in manual work (e.g., sanitary, electrical, wood, mechanics) • Willingness and motivation to work with people with disabilities • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email applications • First aid training or willingness to refresh Personal competencies Competence area Description Technical competence Technical knowledge, manual skills, building management Self-competence Self-responsibility, reliability, organizational ability Social competence Patience, team ability, appreciative cooperation Methodical competence Planning, prioritizing, forward-thinking action Digital competence Basic knowledge of common digital tools, planning, and document management
