To strengthen our team, we are looking for an On-call Cook Definition of the function and mission Prepare and present all food preparations served in the establishment. Perform all tasks that are of a nature to promote the quality of service: mise en place, checking the quality and quantity of products. The organization of work being established by the chef de partie or by the responsible chef. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily tasks – kitchen Ensure the cleanliness of the station as well as its tidiness (equipment, surfaces, fridges, etc.). Respect cleaning schedules according to HACCP standards and report anomalies. Perform cleaning according to the Chef's requests and HACCP requirements. Maintain impeccable hygiene (attire, hands, hair, beard, etc.). Ensure the safety and correct use of equipment. Report missing or out-of-stock products. Inquire about the day's mise en place according to basic recipes. Actively participate in production and stock management. Check expiration dates and the quality of goods. Note upcoming mise en place. Ask for or provide explanations related to production. Participate in the order list. Transmit precise instructions for service continuity. Taste, control and have productions validated. Respect schedules and report any delay or absence. Receive goods and check their conformity. Control and store the cold room and the storeroom. Weekly tasks Become aware of events (banquets, cocktails, special menus). Plan certain mise en place with the managers. Follow the inventory schedule and control the storage. Respect and apply the weekly attendance plan. General responsibilities Maintain product quality and respect internal standards. Inform the Chef of any problematic situation.
