Due to a retirement, the Board of Directors of the RHNe is looking for a: Site Director 80-100 % The Réseau hospitalier neuchâtelois (RHNe) is a major player in healthcare in French-speaking Switzerland. Spread across five sites, it brings together nearly 3'200 employees, more than 70 professions, and shares a common ambition: to offer the right care, at the right time. The RHNe is a public institution engaged in an ambitious transformation of its healthcare offering thanks to a 2026–2030 strategy focused on innovation, outpatient care, interdisciplinarity, and the continuous improvement of care pathways. Your responsibilities: In a hospital context undergoing transformation, you will leverage your managerial experience to lead the Pourtalès site, one of the two acute care centers of the RHNe. You will ensure the operational management of the site and guarantee the quality, continuity, and efficiency of the services provided, in compliance with the objectives set by the Board of Directors. You will actively contribute to the RHNe's 2026–2030 strategy, particularly regarding the development of outpatient care, organizational transformation, and the optimization of patient pathways. You will support structural projects, particularly outpatient development aimed at strengthening outpatient capacities and improving patient flows. In close collaboration with the Board of Directors (Collège des directions), you will participate in the global governance of the RHNe and the coherence of strategic decisions. You will promote local management, unite teams, and strengthen the attractiveness of the site. You will represent the site to internal and external stakeholders and actively contribute to its influence. Finally, on a rotational basis, you will assume the presidency of the Board of Directors of the RHNe. Your profile: As a confirmed senior executive, you possess excellent knowledge of the Swiss hospital system and current issues in the public health sector. Having completed higher education supplemented by management training, you have solid experience in leading complex organizations and large-scale projects. A personality present in the field, you know how to embody a clear vision, unite your teams, and lead change in a demanding environment. Comfortable in collegial environments, you demonstrate collaborative leadership and a great capacity for listening. Equipped with excellent oral and written communication skills, you possess strong institutional credibility and know how to navigate sensitive contexts, including political and media issues. You demonstrate discernment, decision-making ability, and a strong results orientation, while ensuring the quality and safety of patient care.
