Your area of responsibility LGT is looking for an experienced leader to lead and further develop the Forward Deployed Engineering Capability within the growing AI team. In this role, you will shape how AI creates measurable business value at LGT and lead a distributed team of Forward Deployed Engineers in London, Zürich and Hong Kong. Together with your team, you will identify high-impact use cases, translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, and ensure successful implementation in complex corporate environments. You will define LGT's Forward-Deployed-Engineering approach and transition pilot projects into scalable, sustainable results. Your tasks: Leading and further developing LGT's Forward-Deployed-Engineering Capability, including a distributed team in London, Zürich and Hong Kong Definition of vision, mandate, operating model, delivery standards and ways of working in close coordination with AI, technology and business management Building, coaching and scaling a high-performance team with a focus on cross-regional collaboration, uniform quality standards, ownership, learning and responsible innovation Close collaboration with senior stakeholders in the business units and support functions to identify priority workflows, pain points and opportunities where AI can create measurable value Responsibility for a portfolio of AI use cases throughout the entire lifecycle - from prioritization and scoping to prototyping, implementation and rollout to continuous optimization Ensuring that AI Agents and AI-supported workflows fit real business processes, enterprise requirements and regulatory specifications Establishing clear mechanisms for measuring adoption, performance and business impact as well as for ongoing optimization together with business and technology stakeholders Your profile University degree in computer science, engineering, data science, business informatics, innovation management or a related field Several years of experience at the interface of business and technology, including leading complex transformation initiatives or client-facing technical organizations Proven ability to lead, develop and scale high-performance cross-functional or distributed teams across locations, cultures and time zones in an international environment Strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder needs as well as the necessary credibility, communication and persuasion skills in dealing with senior business leaders, internal clients and technical teams Sound practical understanding of modern AI systems and agentic workflows as well as experience in translating business requirements into workable technology solutions for complex enterprise environments Good understanding of the requirements of a regulated environment, ideally combined with experience in the financial services sector Very good English and German skills; additional languages relevant to LGT locations are an advantage Good judgment, high ownership and a pragmatic, results-oriented working style as well as the ability to analyze complex workflows, reduce ambiguity, effectively prioritize and connect strategic direction with operational implementation Please note that no applications via recruitment agencies will be considered for this position.
