The GVTG is an independent public-law service company based in Frauenfeld. It is managed according to non-profit but economic principles and insures buildings in the Canton of Thurgau against fire and natural hazard damage, promotes fire departments, and deals with damage prevention in the interest of protecting people and property. The statutory mandate of the GVTG is based in particular on the Building Insurance Act and the Fire Protection Act. To strengthen the prevention team, we are looking for a convincing personality as Specialist Municipal Fire Protection (m/f/d) 80 - 100% per immediately or by arrangement What awaits you with us You advise owners and clients, planners, and tradespeople on questions of structural, technical, and operational fire protection You create fire police requirements and permits for construction projects and events You control the implementation of the required fire protection measures using acceptance protocols and deficiency reports You carry out periodic building inspections for buildings if required You participate in commission meetings and discussions You contribute your expertise to internal and external project groups You actively participate in the team, recognize potential for improvement, and support us in continuously developing processes.
