Apply Initial Situation ### For our client from the insulation industry, we are looking for a committed personality as a Process Engineer Extrusion (m/f/d). In this position, you will work on the further development and optimization of existing production plants and support investment and development projects in the field of compounding and extrusion. You combine process engineering trials with the analysis and optimization of existing production processes and work closely with development, production, quality assurance, and maintenance. Vacancy No. 6680 ## Tasks ### • Further development and optimization of the existing plant park in cooperation with the group's production sites • Support of investment projects in the field of compounding and extrusion • Participation in the technological further development of production capacities • Execution of process engineering trials to increase economic efficiency, energy efficiency, and process safety • Planning and accompaniment of production trials within the framework of development projects • Execution of trials with alternative polymers, additives, carriers, and new developments • Analysis, evaluation, and optimization of existing production processes as well as internal company workflows • Initiation and implementation of technical improvement projects to increase plant availability and operational safety • Supervision of scale-up productions and ensuring a stable transfer to series production • Close cooperation with development, production, quality assurance, and maintenance • Documentation and evaluation of trial results as well as derivation of sound recommendations for action • Execution of training for employees • Active participation in the training of apprentices Requirements ### • Completed studies in plastics technology, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study • Alternatively, technical basic training with corresponding further training at HF/TS level as well as several years of practical experience • Several years of experience in compounding and extrusion, ideally in the plastics or construction industry • Sound knowledge in process engineering, materials science, polymers, additives, and extrusion processes • Experience in the planning, execution, and evaluation of trials in the laboratory and production environment • Experience in investment and optimization projects • Ability to evaluate trial data in a structured manner and to prepare and present technical results comprehensibly • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working • Ability to maintain an overview and set clear priorities even in a dynamic development environment • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and implementation strength Languages ### German m+s: very good Start Date ### By arrangement Work Location ### Muri AG Special ### Do you not want to simply accompany production processes, but actively develop them further?
