Social Worker in the Refugee Sector (limited until 31.12.2026)

For the Social Welfare department in the Office for Asylum and Refugees, we are looking for you as a social worker in the refugee sector, effective immediately or by agreement. Your tasks • Consulting recognized refugees and provisionally admitted persons in personal, family, financial, legal and social matters • Orientation of economic social assistance; support in enforcing and securing claims against social insurance • Development of individual and purposeful solutions for the sustainable improvement of the life situation of clients • Responsible case management in close cooperation with the case workers and specialist offices • Contribution of technical expertise and co-design of social work Your competencies • Completed studies in Social Work (FH/Uni) • Experience in the social service and/or asylum sector • Empathy and joy in working with people from different cultural backgrounds • Structured way of working and resilience also in challenging situations Our offer • Meaningful and diverse range of tasks • Flexible working and holiday models and the possibility of mobile working • Collegial team and attractive further training opportunities We look forward to your application.
