Railway Foreman (m/f/d)

What you can make move. • You autonomously execute all maintenance and construction work in the railway track area, including the exchange or assembly of components on the tracks and track appliances. • You direct and supervise the personnel under your responsibility on the construction site. • You control the quality of execution of all services provided by suppliers within the framework of the construction site entrusted to you (framework contracts, construction machinery, etc.). What you bring. • You demonstrate great motivation, you are ready to take on responsibilities, and you invest yourself passionately in your tasks. You focus your work on the pursuit of your objectives and define high requirements regarding its quality. • You have solid experience in the construction and maintenance of railway track installations and good field knowledge. • You have obtained a CFC as a track constructor, or in a manual trade. • You hold the foreman diploma in railway track construction (POS), obtained from the SSE (Société Suisse des Entrepreneurs). • You consider irregular schedules and shift work as an advantage to enjoy your free time while others are working. With us, working at night and on weekends entitles you to additional compensation, e.g. CHF 16.- per hour for Sunday work. Time premiums of 10 to 30% are granted for night work, which gives you more free time.
