As part of temporary missions at various nursing homes (EMS) in the canton of Genève, we are looking for a hairdresser passionate about their profession and who enjoys human contact.

You will work directly within the establishments in order to offer residents a moment of well-being, relaxation, and conviviality.

Hairdresser in nursing homes

Your main activities: ##

• Perform hairdressing services adapted to the needs and wishes of the residents
• Perform cuts, blow-outs, styling, and hair care treatments
• Adapt services to a senior clientele, with attention and kindness
• Create a relationship of trust with the residents
• Respect hygiene and safety rules and the instructions of the establishment
• Work autonomously and organize your appointments effectively

Your profile ##

• Hairdresser training or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with a senior clientele, an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills
• Patience, gentleness, and kindness
• Autonomy, punctuality, and reliability
• Neat appearance and professional attitude
• Ability to adapt to the different environments of the nursing homes (EMS)
• Driver's license and vehicle, an asset depending on the establishments
