Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics

For the targeted development and care of our gynecological department in a modern group practice in Bassersdorf, we are looking for an empathetic and competent personality as a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (m/f/d). In this 60% workload, you offer the female patients of the region comprehensive, local care at a high medical level – from adolescence to old age. Main tasks • Gynecological consultation: Independent performance of preventive examinations (cancer screening), diagnostics, and treatment of acute and chronic gynecological complaints. • Obstetrics & prenatal care: Competent accompaniment, counseling, and ultrasound diagnostics during pregnancy as well as postpartum care. • Counseling & prevention: Individual counseling on topics such as contraception, family planning, sexuality, as well as investigation and therapy of complaints during menopause. • In-house diagnostics: Performance of modern ultrasound examinations (vaginal and abdominal sonography). • Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close coordination with the internal general practitioners of the group practice as well as referral to surrounding center hospitals for surgical interventions or high-risk pregnancies. Requirement profile Admission notice: The presence or fulfillment of the criteria for the cantonal professional practice license (Zürich) as well as admission to the mandatory health insurance (OKP) is mandatory. • Education: Federal medical examination or a foreign medical diploma recognized by MEBEKO. • Qualification: Swiss specialist title for Gynecology and Obstetrics or a correspondingly recognized equivalent. • Professional competence: Ideally, you bring certificates of competence (e.g., pregnancy ultrasound according to SGUM or practice laboratory).
