Project Manager in Civil Engineering

What you can make happen. • As a project manager, you are responsible for the smooth running of railway infrastructure projects in the field of structural engineering. • You accompany your projects in all phases - from the preliminary study to commissioning - in close cooperation with internal specialist departments and external partners. In this function, you actively participate in complex, multidisciplinary projects and railway operations. • As a guarantor for the proper execution of your projects, you pay attention to quality, safety, costs, and deadlines. • You take overall responsibility for execution, following the processes and specificities of the SBB. • You check the planning of structural engineering works and also carry out internal controls and expert assessments. • You represent your projects in internal and external committees and instances. What you bring with you. • Your conceptual skills, your quick comprehension, and your enthusiasm for structural engineering enable you to familiarize yourself quickly and thoroughly with your new activity at the SBB. • You are characterized by a proactive and flexible way of working. In addition, you possess good persuasion skills and a strong affinity for teamwork. • Over the years, you have gained at least 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering (planning office, construction management) as well as experience in project management. • Experience in project management in both the pre-project phase and the execution phase is required. Experience in the railway industry is an advantage. • For the successful implementation of such projects, you have a higher education as an engineer in civil engineering (university or technical college). • You communicate in German at a business level (at least C1).
