H&S Coordinator: Gravel & Concrete 80-100% Central Switzerland What awaits you You coach and support our line managers, employees and project managers in the Central Switzerland and Northeast Switzerland regions with all technical H&S questions and the implementation of measures You are regularly on site, exchange views with the plant managers and have an open ear for our employees "in the field" Together with the persons responsible at the locations, you carry out hazard assessments and thus ensure a safe working environment You develop, plan and coordinate actions as well as training to sustainably strengthen and further develop our safety culture You check whether our group specifications, processes and the national requirements (e.g. of SUVA) for occupational safety and health protection are up to date and consistently implemented In the event of incidents or accidents, you get to the bottom of things, identify the causes and develop corrective measures in a team. You subsequently report the results in our group tool You actively work on the management and further development of our management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) in the area of gravel and concrete You contribute your specialist knowledge to working groups at CEW level and maintain contact with industry associations and authorities What you bring You have a technical education (HF, FH, ETH) and experience in heavy industry You are an EKAS safety specialist, safety engineer or similar including mandatory further training You have already gained experience in a leadership function and know how to motivate teams and take responsibility You are very familiar with the building materials industry or a comparable industrial production environment and feel comfortable between gravel plants and concrete mixing plants You possess a deep understanding of specific operational risks and instinctively recognize where we must start to increase safety Legal regulations and standards (occupational safety, health protection, environmental requirements) are your daily tools.
