Socio-cultural animator at 60% - Association Rinia Contact

• Assume responsibility for the free reception of an intergenerational audience (pre-teens, teenagers, young adults from 12 to 25 years old, adults and seniors), in compliance with the association's institutional project
• Participate in the development of associative life and promote intercultural exchanges, by adhering to the association's values of tolerance and respect for differences
• Be in agreement with the objectives of integration, citizenship, prevention, and environmental awareness
• Assume tasks related to the projects implemented by the association
• Actively participate in the development of the activity program and the monitoring of the associative project in consultation with the team and the committee
• Assume management tasks related to the activities
• Collaborate actively and regularly with social actors on the ground
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in social work, HES level or an equivalent university degree (educational sciences, sociology, psychology, anthropology, ethnology / Diplôme d'Etat d'Educateur spécialisé (DEES), Diplôme d'Etat Supérieur de la Jeunesse, de l'Education Populaire et de Sport (DESJEPS)
• Confirmed experience in socio-cultural animation with different types of populations: teens, general public, interest in working in a place open to a multicultural population
• Sense of initiative, versatility, autonomy, creativity, ability to take on responsibilities,
• Ability to work independently while working in a team
• Interest and sensitivity to discovering various cultures and artistic genres within a small association
• Ability and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team in the direction of the institutional project objectives
• Recognized skills in project conceptualization and management
• Good knowledge of the Geneva social system and the functioning of the FASe
• Sense of organization and planning, while knowing how to manage priorities and emergencies,
• Ability to use standard computer software, skills and mastery of current communication tools would be an additional asset
• Availability, openness to flexible and irregular hours (activities on Friday evenings and weekends, during school holidays, including Christmas)
• Salary according to the Geneva State salary scale: maximum class 15

The Geneva Foundation for socio-cultural animation is a partner institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the Canton of Geneva, i.e., to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, socio-cultural and associative field actions carried out by centers and outreach teams, the Foundation responds to the needs of the population in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, and quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social disengagement.
