Your future core tasks: In this demanding role, together with the weir masters, you will organize and accompany construction and maintenance measures on flowing waters. Leading and accompanying flood protection and revitalization projects from initial preliminary studies through to realization (including land acquisition) up to subsidization and settlement is also part of the area of responsibility. In doing so, legal and engineering specifications are coordinated with the concerns of various interest groups and balanced, implementable solutions are developed. Furthermore, you will support the Head of Waterways in the assessment of building applications for technical interventions and structural changes to flowing waters, as well as in the processing of concession applications for hydropower use and material extraction. What you bring: For this responsible position, you have a basic technical construction training with further training (ideally towards hydraulic engineering/waterway restoration or civil engineering construction manager) and can look back on several years of professional experience. Public law processes are familiar to you and you are used to implementing projects.
