Mechanical Engineer / Designer – 80 to 100 % Corcelles (NE), Switzerland KERIS designs and realizes unique mechanical objects, at the intersection of watchmaking, engineering, and experience. We work on both our own creations and on projects developed for grand watchmaking houses. Mechanisms that are imagined, built, prototyped, tested, modified… until they truly see life. To support our development, we are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Designer to join our team in Corcelles. What you will do at KERIS You will participate directly in the development of our new projects, from the first technical reflections to their industrialization. Concretely, you will be required to: ● design mechanisms, components, and mechanical assemblies; ● perform 3D constructions and technical drawings; ● research and propose technical solutions adapted to the constraints of each project; ● dimension components and perform the necessary calculations; ● participate in the prototyping, testing, and fine-tuning of mechanisms; ● exchange with our suppliers and technical partners; ● accompany projects through to their transition into production. ● progressively master the specific know-how of KERIS in terms of watchmaking enlargement, a unique profession at the crossroads of mechanical construction, watchmaking, and design; At KERIS, projects are rarely identical. Some require precision, others require finding a mechanical solution that does not yet truly exist. You must love searching, testing, understanding why something does not work… then finding how to make it work. The profile we are looking for You are a mechanical engineer, designer, or holder of an equivalent technical training, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an equivalent position. You master a 3D mechanical design software and are comfortable with construction and technical drawing. Experience in watchmaking is appreciated, but not indispensable. We are just as interested in profiles from precision mechanics, special purpose machinery, microtechnology, or other environments in which one must design intelligently and concretely. Good mastery of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint or equivalent) is a plus. Beyond the CV, we are primarily looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and autonomous, who loves to understand things, propose solutions, and naturally move from reflection to realization.
