Laundry and Sewing Assistant (100%)

From 1 October 2026, we are looking for you as a Laundry and Sewing Assistant (100%) Do you like to roll up your sleeves, work carefully, and enjoy interacting with people? In this versatile role, you will support our team in the sewing and laundry departments and simultaneously accompany residents and employees with support needs in their daily work. In these activities, you support us Laundry tasks: • Practical cooperation in the entire production process • Sorting dirty laundry, filling and programming washing machines • Unloading washing machines, filling tumblers, programming and unloading tumblers • Hanging, folding, and ironing laundry • Sorting laundry for delivery • General cleaning work Sewing tasks: • Independently executing sewing orders • Mending clothes and various items • Special productions and adjustments • Shortening trousers • Altering and adjusting curtains • Mending work, replacing zippers, hemming, etc. General tasks: • Accompanying, guiding, and supporting residents and employees with support needs in their daily work. You fit us and this position if you also place the people entrusted to us at the center of your actions and bring the following: • Practical experience, preferably from a similar institution, nursing home, or hospital Strong social competencies • Stable personality, ability to set boundaries (closeness and distance) • Team player, motivated to perform good work together with the team • Ability to work in a large multi-cultural team • Responsible, reliable, and resilient • Flexibility, sewing and laundry as needed • Understanding and willingness to represent our attitude towards people with disabilities. • Physically fit • Good German skills in speaking and writing, including reading literacy and the ability to conduct consultations (Min.
