Your mission and your responsibilities

• Perform horticultural work related to the multiplication, cultivation and packaging of woody ornamental plants, according to the directives of the foreman or forewoman.
• Ensure the tasks necessary for the production of quality plants, respecting the environment, until their final planting.
• Participate in the management of technical installations and monitor automated installations ensuring greenhouse climate control, watering and lighting.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and on-call service, depending on the internal organization and the needs of the department.
• Participate in the transmission of knowledge and the supervision of apprentices, trainees and unqualified employees.

Your profile

• Hold a diploma in horticulture or a CFC as a horticulturist nurseryman or nurserywoman option nursery or an equivalent training.
• Demonstrate several years of experience in a similar position.
• Have a valid driving license.
• Have an M1 machinist permit.
• Having aerial platform training and an M2 permit is an asset.
• Demonstrate skill, versatility and a sense of observation.
• Have good physical fitness and the ability to work alone, or in a team, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Provide on-call service, including weekends.
